Mango Driftwood

 

A small subsistence farming village, Bui, is one of a handful of communities being displaced by Bui Hydroelectric Dam in Ghana, West Africa. As its people await relocation, they prepare for their final harvest festival and reflect on the importance of mango trees as a symbol of place and as markers of the community's history.
